Ahmadinejad: The NIE ` A Declaration Of Surrender'

In an interview with Iran State Television today, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad referred to the Iran NIE as 'a declaration of surrender'.

"It would be beneficial for both Iran and them (the West) to cooperate with Iran," Ahmadinejad said. "Of course it would be more to their benefit than Iran's."

He's also not laying awake at night worrying about sanctions. When asked whether he expected the U.N. Security Council to impose fresh sanctions on Iran, he said "It is too far-fetched."

He's indeed correct, in my opinion. The NIE is indeed an acknowledgment of surrender by the US, and a fresh round of UN sanctions is both dubious and unlikely.

Joshua's Army members should keep in mind that it is not only Ahmadinejad who regards this as a victory, but our enemies and our friends.

And they will act accordingly.
