Watcher's Council Results, 12/14/07

The Council has spoken! A complete list of results can be found at the site of our fearless leader, the infamous Watcher of Weasels

This week, there was a tie between two entries in the voting, mine and another entry I liked a great deal by Wolf Howling. In these situations, the Watcher votes and breaks the ties' so this weeks' winner turned out to be me:

JoshuaPundit: Pearl Harbor...And 9/11 A few things I felt needed saying about these two events, why they were handled so differently, and the lessons I think we should take from the past for the future.

In second place we had:

Wolf Howling:A Deeply Flawed NIE Changes Nothing & Everything An excellent piece on the NIE and the probable fallout that will ensue from this travesty. I might point out that Wolf Howling won the honors for non-Council piece the week before he joined the Council, debuted as one of our group by winning the top honors for the Council last week and tied for first this week. In a group of writers as talented as this, that's quite an accomplishment!

For non-Council, the winner was:

Michael Yon: Men of Valor: Part IV A great on-the-ground piece from one of our finest war correspondents embedded with British troops in Iraq.

In second place for non-Council was:
Pajamas Media: What Happens After The Surge an examination of our onging strategy in Iraq by my old blogpal Omar Fadhil from Iraq The Model, one of the better places in the `sphere for a real birdseye view of what's happening there.

Hearty Kudos to all the winners!
