Hezbollah's Nasrullah Declares 'Open War' On Israel At Mugniyeh Funeral

I suppose that would be different from the war Hezbollah has been conducting against Israel for decades.

Hezbollah's Sheik Nasrullah had a good time riling up the troops at the funeral of Hezbollah Chief of Staff and mass murderer Imad Mugniyeh today, declaring open war on Israel:

"If the Zionists want war, then they shall have it," Nasrallah said in a speech broadcast at the funeral of Mugniyeh. "If you want an open war, then let it be an open war."

He also said that the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel was not over and that the UN ceasefire mandated by Resolution 1701 had never happened and had no meaning as far as Hezbollah was concerned...but we knew that, right?

"The July war is not over, it is ongoing and no ceasefire was ever declared," Nasrallah said "The blood of Imad Mugniyeh will contribute to the disappearance of the Jewish state."

In a related bit of news, Syria claims to have conducted an `exhaustive investigation' into the Mugniyeh hit and promised to `name the Mugniyeh killer soon'.

And even more interesting, the Syrians claimed to have rounded up several Palestinian suspects in the assassination.

I'd predict that they're likely expendable tools who the Syrians can extract a quick confession out of and charge with being spies for the Zionists as 'proof'that Israel was behind this particular bit of rodent removal - even though it likely was the Mossad.

Meanwhile, Israel has deployed additional troops on the northern borders and put its embassies and nationals overseas on high alert. Jewish centers such as schools and synogogues are also reportedly receiving extra police protection here in the US.
