Worth Reading: Short Takes, 6/13/08

Short takes is my way of cramming a lot into a small space for you..kind of like the young gentleman above is doing! Here's a brief rundown of some of today's items of interest for Joshua's Army:

An Astonishingly Dangerous Decision - Hugh Hewitt examines yesterday's Supreme Court fiasco giving habeus corpus rights to incarcerated terrorists.

Sitting on an Ocean of Energy, Doing Nothing - Daniel Henninger at the WSJ writes about the farcical situation where the US willingly foregoes the exploitation of badly needed energy resources.

Return of the Dupes and the Anti-Anti-Communists. Paul Kengor has a superb article that examines the resurgence of Lenin's 'useful idiots' as the Obama campaign gathers steam (hat tip: Bookworm)

And speaking of Bookworm, do read her Say it Loud, Say it Proud,I Am A Racist! a response to one of the underlying accusations about those who aren't quite willing to drink the Kool-Ade on Obama.

Debbie Schlussel has an exclusive look at yet another one of Obama's troubling associates, a fundraiser and college activist in Michigan who's the son of one of al-Qaeda's top terrorists, Mohammed Al-Churbaji - who's here in America illegally for the second time, believe it or not.
